Full Description

61275 St John the Evangelist's church is located off High Street. Much of it is Early English with some Decorated and Perpendicular work. It was restored in 1959-62. {1}{2}{3}{4} The church was first listed in 1967, and the listing was amended in 1993, when it was upgraded to Grade II*. The cast iron gates and gate piers are separately listed.
