Full Description
Cropmarks of a Romano-British settlement site were identified on aerial photographs. {1}{2}{3}
A complex of possible Romano-British enclosures and field systems, visible as cropmarks. There are concentrations of related finds (see PRN's 23256 and 22070). There are also cropmarks of side roads off the main Roman road (see PRN22343), for example at Rookery Farm (TF 214 203), all visible on aerial photographs. {4}{5}{6}{7}{8}{9}{10}{11}{12}
An ill-defined scatter of Romano-British pottery and sparse bone, may be equivalent to 'Fenland in Roman Times' site 2120W. {13}
Further cropmarks relating to this site were noted during an aerial photography assessment. {14}
