Full Description

At D - TF21032004 was little domestic debris, the sherds of indeterminate date, though pre-dominantly late, and a little baked clay. {4} Area under crop shows no evidence of occupation. Farmer knows of no finds of interest since Mrs Hallam's visit. {1} TWO DISTINCT BUT OVERLAPPING CONCENTRATIONS OF ARTEFACTS WITH SETTLEMENT DEBRIS AND SALTERN MATERIAL ON THE NORTH EDGE. FINDS INCLUDE POTTERY, BRIQUETAGE, SPARSE BONE. THE LOCATION IS MORE OR LESS THE SAME AS 2120Wd, BUT THE FINDS ARE VERY DIFFERENT. {7} GREY WARE AND COLOUR-COATED WARE FOUND IN 1974. {8}, AREA 0.18HA, HTM 2.5M
