Full Description

A C2 sherd scatter over ill-defined flat area of darkish soil and slight scatters down sides of silty hillocks seen on Spalding Common, where group of small, mostly rectangular, ditched enclosures are visible as cropmarks on APs. AO:61:106:6 - copy of Poulton's AP.{1} Area under crop and uniformally flat. Patches of exposed plough soil showed no evidence of occupation.{1} A COMPACT GROUP OF SMALL ENCLOSURES AND C1-C2 POTTERY. THIS IS PART OF A COMPLEX OF SETTLEMENT AND FIELD SYSTEMS 22345. {6}{7}
