At C - TF21092019, the plough has touched on a layer containing ash and powdered burnt clay. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}{6} Area under crop shows no evidence of occupation. Farmer knows of no finds of interest since Mrs Hallams visit.{1} ABUNDANT SCATTER WITH A LUMP OF GRIT, ANOTHER OF PUDDINGSTONE, OVER DARK AREA OF SOIL AROUND EAST OF SILTY HILLOCK; TWO PATCHES, M AND N, WHERE PLOUGH HAS TOUCHED LAYER CONTAINING PULVERISED BAKED CLAY AND ASH. MID AND LATE C2. {4} CURIOUSLY NARROW CONCENTRATION OF SHERDS. THE SITE WAS POSSIBLE TRUNCATED OR DISTURBED BY DEMOLISHED POST MEDIEVAL BUILDING NEARBY. {7}
