Description
Archaeological evaluation on land at Woolram Wygate undertaken as part of a phased programme of investigation in order to gather sufficient information for the archaeological curator to formulate a policy for the management of the archaeological resources present on site. Thirty-nine trenches were laid out; some targeted on magnetic anomalies detected during geophysical survey, the others forming a systematic grid to sample the entire area. {1} {2}
