Full Description

Portion of a ridge and furrow field system, visible in aerial photographs, to the south of Market Rasen. This was identified and recorded as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}{2} East-west aligned ridge and furrow was recorded during geophysical survey and trial trenching centred on TF111 885.{4}{5}{6} Ridge and furrow field system was recorded during trial trenching over the entire site, centered on TF 1125 8870.{7}{8} East-west aligned ridge and furrow was recorded during geophysical survey in the western half of a site centred on TF 10925 88290, though no traces of the furrows were revealed during subsequent trial trenching. {9}{10}{11}
