Description

An archaeological fieldwalking survey was conducted on the site of a proposed quarry extension at Tumby, Lincolnshire. Work took place in two phases from 4th to 5th March 1998 and on 4th June 1998. Three areas were surveyed using a geodimeter 640 total station and transects 20m apart. Three concentrations of worked flint of Neolithic to Bronze Age date were found. {1} {2}
