Abstract/Summary

Archive for the excavation of eleven trial trenches, dug to inform proposed residential development on land off Tattershall Road, Woodhall Spa. The remains of a number of intercutting ditches were recorded across the site, some of which could be dated from pottery finds to the post-medieval period. Also recorded were two parallel linear features at the eastern end of the site, that were thought to represent the remains of a former hedge of significant antiquity. A few sherds of redeposited medieval pottery were also recovered.
