Full Description
Two parallel, curving linear features were recorded in this location in February 2015, during trial trenching on land off Tattershall Road. The features were thought to represent the remains of a former hedgerow, or perhaps a former trackway. Whilst no conclusive dating evidence was identified, the features were cut by a series of early modern ditches and drains, suggesting at least some significant antiquity. {1}{2}
