Full Description
The remains of six ditches were recorded in this location in February 2015, during trial trenching on land off Tattershall Road. The features varied quite widely in terms of alignment and dimensions, and no coherent pattern could be determined. No artefacts were recovered from any of the features, which remain undated. {1}{2}
Further undated features were recorded in May 2016, in the field to the south of those previously identified, during a second phase of trial trenching on land off Tattershall Road. The features comprised the remains of several ditches and pits, which again varied quite widely in their alignments and dimensions. No dateable material was recovered from the fills of any of these features. {3}{4}
