Full Description

A small assemblage of redeposited medieval pottery, tile and brick was recovered in this location in February 2015, during trial trenching on land off Tattershall Road. The assemblage comprised two sherds of Toynton Medieval ware, and one sherd of a locally produced fabric, five pieces of medieval roof tile, and a fragment from a large, late medieval type 'great brick', possibly originating from the nearby monastic complex. {1}{2}
