Full Description

A series of undated features including gullies, ditches and pits were encountered during a programme of trial trenching between December 2003 and January 2004. These are possibly associated with Late Saxon or later agricultural activity. Five fragments of human bone were recovered from undated contexts on this site. {1}{2} Subsequent open excavation on the same site between October 2007 and May 2008 revealed several further undated features, including a number of ditches and pits, and three isolated post holes. {3}{4}
