Abstract/Summary

Archive for a programme of archaeological evaluation comprising ten trial trenches excavated on land between School Lane and Church Road, Old Leake, to inform the proposed construction of a residential development. Saxo-Norman and Medieval features of a primarily agricultural nature were encountered, along with post-Medieval remains likely associated with the farmstead to the south of the site.
