Description
In order to assist in the determination of a planning application, an archaeological evaluation (trial trenching) was undertaken on land at School Lane / Church Road, Old Leake. The site is located close to the historic core of the village and previous investigations close by had revealed Saxo-Norman, medieval and post-medieval remains {1} {2}
