Full Description

Grimblethorpe Hall Farm, Gayton Le Wold. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within a Church and/or Manor farm group. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {1} A study of the history and development of Grimblethorpe Hall Farm was included in the programme of historic building recording, conducted in July 2016, prior to proposed alterations and change of use of some of the former farm buildings. {2}{3}
