Abstract/Summary

Archive for a programme of archaeological evaluation comprising forty six trial trenches excavated to inform a proposed residential development on land at Tattershall Road, Woodhall Spa. The remains of two stone buildings of Late Medieval date were encountered at the western edge of the site along with evidence of possible industrial activity and a large contemporary boundary ditch, which may have remained open into the post-Medieval period. At the eastern edge of the trenched area, a group of undated features including a possible rectangular enclosure were identified.
