A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted on the groundworks for a residential development on land at Tattershall Road, Woodhall Spa. Fourteen house foundations had been excavated and the topsoil stripped across most of the site prior to monitoring by the archaeologists. At the northeast end of the soil strip, four ditches were encountered, two of which were parallel and may have flanked a trackway. All but one of these ditches had previously been recorded in the prior programme of trial trenching (ELI12772). {1}{2}
