Description
Open archaeological excavation (strip, map, record) was undertaken between 2010 and 2014 in advace of a proposed sand and gravel extraction area extension, including the construction of the associated infrastructure. An Iron Age settlement was recorded, transitioning to a Roman landscape. {1}{2}
