Description

A fluxgate gradiometer survey was undertaken to inform the proposed construction of a new water treatment works, to the south-west of Newton on Trent. Extensive areas of medieval ridge and furrow were recorded, along with a number of possible kiln features and several rectilinear features, likely representing Iron Age ditched enclosures.
