Full Description

A strong magnetic anomaly was recorded during a magnetometry survey, conducted in March 2011, in advance of the proposed construction of a new water treatment works to the south-west of Newton on Trent. The anomaly was thought to denote an area of burning, possibly representing a former kiln of unknown date. {1}{2}
