Abstract/Summary

Archive for the programme of building recording and archaeological monitoring, conducted prior to and during the demolition and redevelopment of the principal structures and a complex of mid 19th and 20th century outbuildings at 11-13 Market Street, Long Sutton. The structures comprised a house and a small complex of light industrial buildings and stores. Notes were also made of the adjacent Market House structure. The monitoring revealed only layers of late post-medieval made ground, indicating the site had remained undeveloped until the 19th century.
