Description

A programme of archaeological monitoring was conducted during groundworks for the demolition and redevelopment of the principal structures and a complex of mid 19th and 20th century outbuildings at 11-13 Market Street, Long Sutton. The monitoring revealed only layers of late post-medieval made ground, indicating the site had remained undeveloped until the 19th century. {1}{2}
