Full Description

Cliff House, Waddingham. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {1} A study of the history and development of Cliff House Farm was included in the programme of historic building recording, conducted in September 2016, prior to the proposed conversion to residential use of some of the former farm buildings. {2}{3} A further study of the history and development of Cliff House Farm was included in the programme of historic building recording, conducted in January 2017, prior to the proposed conversion of more of the former farm buildings. {4}{5}
