Full Description

During a watching brief on land at Grange Farm, High Street, Bassingham, three linear features, a gully and two post holes were found in Trench 1. Another gully and two channels, possibly the remains of plough marks, were found in Trench 2. A possible pit and three post holes were found in Trench 3 and three linear features, possibly plough marks, and eight post holes were revealed in Trench 4. A possible ditch from Trench 5 and a post hole from Trench 6 were also revealed. All of these features were undated. {1}{2}
