Full Description

A geophysical survey recorded well-defined ridge and furrow remains at South Witham Quarry, the majority of which was aligned east to west. {1} Medieval pottery was recovered from Field 1 and 2 during a fieldwalking survey undertaken in 2007. {2}{3} The below-ground remains of Medieval furrows were encountered during trial trenching in September 2016. {4}{5}
