Full Description
Twenty-three trial trenches were excavated on land at Poplar Farm, Grantham prior to development. It uncovered a sub-rectangluar early Medieval pit which contained a complete multi-handled votive cup, pottery sherds and animal bones. Also within was a single piece of residual flint. {1}{2}
