Full Description
NEOLITHIC FINDS FORMING PART OF THE COLLECTION OF PREHISTORIC FINDS FROM THE SAME AREA AS THE ANGLO-SAXON SETTLEMENT SITE. THEY INCLUDE FLINTS, SOME OF WHICH ARE LATE NEOLITHIC-EARLY BRONZE AGE (51870), AND OTHERS WHICH MAY BE MESOLITHIC-EARLY NEOLITHIC (51872). THE POTTERY INCLUDES PETERBOROUGH WARE AND WOODLANDS SUB-STYLE OF GROOVED WARE. {1}
