PRN 35124
RANDOM TRIAL TRENCHING IN THE EVALUATION AREA REVEALED PITS AND DITCHES NOT VISIBLE ON AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHS. THE REMAINS SUGGEST THAT THE AREA WAS INTENSIVELY USED, PROBABLY FOR AGRICULTURAL PURPOSES. {1}
During trial trenching in 2002, centred on TF1121 1003, numerous undated pits, ditches, gullies and postholes were recorded.{2}
