Full Description

'In the highest ground of the area of the Roman Town is now an old chapel dedicated to St Marie, and there is a Heremite'. {1}{2} In 1929 the foundations of the chapel were strongly marked. Foundations could still be traced in 1965. {3}{4} The extent of the chapel's remains can be seen on LiDAR imagery. {5}
