Notes and descriptions of the travels of John Leland throughout England and Wales. Leland chronicled Tudor life, landscapes, historical sites and antiquities he encountered in a series of journeys undertaken during and shortly after the Dissolution.

Description

Leland's notes were complied by Toulmin Smith into 11 parts, which were published in five volumes in 1910. Most of the Lincolnshire journeys are described in vol.1. A digital copy of this publication is held in the HER's Digital Sources folder.
