Full Description

A spring known as Lady Well in Dovecote Close, Ancaster. It is wrongly located to the same field as the chapel (see PRN 30301) in 'Lincolnshire Holy Wells'. It is a natural spring, with no evident machinery. {1}{2} A pump still existed on the north side of the cross roads in recent years, and was used by villagers in this century. {3}
