Full Description

An elongated pit of probably Late Iron Age or Roman date encountered on land to the east of Legbourne Road, Louth, during trial trenching in 2017 and excavation in 2018. Five sherds of Iron Age native tradition ware pottery were recovered from the backfill of the pit. {1}{2}{3}{4}
