Abstract/Summary

Archive for a programme of archaeological evaluation comprising twenty trial trenches excavated on land at Blanchard Road, Louth, prior to the construction of a residential development. A series of undated pits and ditches were revealed. The only positively dated feature of significance was a probable ditch from which Late Iron Age/Roman pottery was recovered, though the presence of post-Medieval gullies and furrows was also noted.
