Full Description
A series of features were uncovered during trial trench excavations on land south of Legsby Road, Market Rasen. The features were predominantly gullies, though a sub-circular pit and post hole were also unciovered during the excavation. Only modern material was uncovered during the excavation, with a single piece of modern pottery uncovered from the sub circular pit being retained. While there is archaeological evidence of Iron Age activity to the north and Roman activity to the east and west, the features were not dated due to lack of evidence. {1}{2}
