Full Description
The remains of a single pit was recorded in this location in December 2017, during trial trenching conducted to inform proposed road development at the A46 Welton Road Junction. The feature had been recorded as a faint magnetic anomaly during an earlier phase of geophysical survey conducted on the site in June 2017. No artefacts were recovered from the feature during its excavation, however, and its exact date and function remains unknown. {1}{2}{3}
