Full Description

Whilst not included in the detailed programme of historic building recording of the former stable block to the south (see PRN 49549), the Old Mill House was briefly described in November 2016. The building probably dates back to the late 18th century, with a later extension on the north side. It is likely contemporary with the nearby bakery and stable block. It is of whitewashed brick with pitched pantile roofs. The building is labelled as a flour mill on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map. {1}{2}{3}
