Full Description

Two linear features of uncertain date were recorded in this area in May 2011, during magnetometry survey of land to the immediate north of Ropsley Quarry. The features were identified as linear magnetic anomalies, running in a roughly south to north direction and following the curve of the adjacent Long Hollow trackway. It was thought likely that the features represent former trackways or ditches relating to the adjacent hollow way, although their exact date could not be determined. {1}
