A magnetometry survey was conducted to inform a proposed extension to Ropsley quarry, in the north of Ropsley and Humby parish. A probable continuation of a previously identified, undated linear feature was recorded near the centre of the surveyed area. Two other linear features of uncertain date were also identified at the eastern edge of the site, running parallel to, and likely associated with the adjacent Long Hollow trackway. {1}
