Description

Following a scheme of geophysical survey (ELI12873), trial trenching was undertaken in July 2021 prior to the proposed extension of Ropsley Quarry. A total of eight trial trenches were excavated recovering evidence for a palaeochannel and prehistoric agricultural activity. {1}{2}
