Description

Systematic fieldwalking, carried out on occasional weekends by Heritage Lincolnshire, along the north bank of the river Witham around the Fiskerton causeway site. Nothing relating to the causeway was recovered, but finds include mesolithic flint as well as large assemblages of later prehistoric flint and pottery of various periods. {1}
