Description

A systematic programme of field walking was conducted to assess the impact of proposed development on land at Wygate Park, Spalding. A concentration of medieval pottery was identified in the south-eastern corner of the field, along with a more general spread of post-medieval artefacts. One Iron Age sherd and two Roman sherds of pottery were also recovered from the western edges of the field. {1}{2}
