Full Description
A single sherd of Iron Age pottery was found in this location in January 2002, during field walking on land at Wygate Park, Spalding. It is probable that the sherd was brought to the surface during cleaning and re-cutting of the adjacent dyke; any prehistoric remains in this area are thought to be buried under layers of alluvial silt. {1}{2}
