Description

A scheme of archaeological monitoring was conducted during the excavation of two trenches for the replacement of electrical cables at Grimsthorpe Castle, Edenham. The remains of medieval ridge and furrow were cut by the easternmost trench, and a sherd of medieval pottery was recovered. This trench also cut a roughly rectangular hollow, from which a small assemblage of post-medieval material was recovered. {1}{2}
