Abstract/Summary
Archive for a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording conducted on the foundations for new shops and apartments on land at Star Lane, Stamford. A sequence of Late Saxon, post-Medieval and modern dumped deposits was identified. A layer of slag encountered during prior trial trenching (see ELI4379) was also identified.
