Description
The archive on a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken at 28 Broadgate, Weston Hills, Spalding. The work was undertaken prior to a proposed development for the development and replacement of the existing dwelling. The monitoring was conducted at the foundations of the house and of the septic tank. The foundations revealed a series of ditches and pits, possibly forming enclosures or field systems that precede the post medieval farm house on the site. A brick lined well, associated with the farmhouse, was also uncovered.
