Archive for a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording conducted during groundworks for a new residential development on land at Well Vale Drive, Chapel St Leonards. A possible Iron Age saltern mound was recorded, along with a number of redeposited silts possibly formed as a result of salt making practices.
