Full Description

Nine sherds of medieval pottery found on land at Well Drive, Chapel St Leonards, during archaeological monitoring and recording of groundworks in 2014-2017. Five of the sherds were recovered from redeposited silts thought to relate to land reclaimation or salt-making practices. The rest were recovered from the subsoil. {1}{2}
