Abstract/Summary
Notes and photographs taken of the principal structures at the former Caistor House of Industry. The site was re-organised in 1936 as the Caistor Union Workhouse, and converted to a hospital in 1937, specialising in the care of mentally ill patients. The hospital closed in 1990, with plans to redevelop the site being proposed at the time of the RCHME's visit.
