Abstract/Summary

Archive for the programme of historic building recording, conducted to inform the proposed conversion to residential use of a group of structures now known as the Tithe Barn, Lenton. This group comprises a complex of three buildings which originally formed part of the working farm buildings of Church Farm, being a former threshing barn, wagon shed and livestock holding barn. The stone-built threshing barn is the oldest structure on the site, being of likely early 18th century origin. The single storey, brick-built wagon shed and livestock barns date to the mid to late 19th century, although all the structures have been subject to some alterations in the 20th century.
